Salary: £28,891.50 per annum

Car Allowance: £3,750

Hours: 37 per week

The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Quality Assurer to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Northwich. This role is ideal for a motivated quality professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting assessor performance.

Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities across programmes

• Monitor and support assessor performance to ensure compliance with awarding body standards


• Carry out sampling, observations, and standardisation activities


• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of assessment decisions


• Support and coach assessors to improve delivery and learner outcomes


• Prepare for and support External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits


• Contribute to quality improvement plans and audit processes

Requirements • Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) (essential)

• Proven experience in a quality assurance or assessing role


• Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards (desirable)


• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills


• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines


• Full UK driving licence (due to travel requirements)
