The D365 Finance Lead Functional Analyst / Team Lead owns the functional design, operational stability, and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365 Finance across a multi\-country environment.

The role combines functional leadership, team management, and solution governance, acting as the key link between Finance, Technology, and external partners to drive both operational excellence and platform transformation.

  • Reports to: Head of Enterprise Applications

  • Key stakeholders: Finance leadership, Enterprise Architecture, Integration \& Engineering teams, and external partners

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

  • Own the functional design, configuration, and optimisation of D365 Finance

  • Lead requirements definition and ensure alignment to global standards

  • Act as the functional authority across core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement)

  • Drive simplification and standardisation across countries

  • Support platform transformation and modernisation initiatives
Team Leadership
  • Lead a partner\-led support team (6 FTE) delivering L2/L3 services

  • Define a robust support model covering SLAs, prioritisation, and escalation

  • Monitor performance and improve service quality

  • Ensure strong documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross\-functional capability

  • Align support with critical finance cycles and business priorities
Integrations \& Vendors
  • Manage vendors supporting enterprise integrations

  • Own end\-to\-end issue management across systems, including root cause resolution

  • Coordinate with technical teams to improve integration reliability and resilience

  • Oversee key integrations across CRM, payroll, and operational platforms

  • Ensure data integrity and process continuity across systems
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary interface between Finance leadership and Technology

  • Drive alignment on priorities, trade\-offs, and roadmap decisions

  • Support global stakeholders across multiple regions

  • Facilitate governance forums, prioritisation boards, and steering discussions

  • Translate technical constraints into clear business decisions
Service \& Design Governance
  • Own the stability and performance of the D365 Finance platform

  • Define and track KPIs across incidents, SLA adherence, recurring defects, and technical debt

  • Lead major incident response and structured problem management

  • Improve release quality through regression, change control, and design governance
Required Skills \& Experience

Core Expertise

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (F\&O)

  • Deep knowledge of European finance processes

  • Experience leading functional design authority and governance
Leadership \& Delivery
  • Experience managing support teams and/or external partners

  • Strong understanding of service management (ITIL preferred)

  • Comfortable operating in a complex, multi\-vendor integration landscape
Technical Awareness
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure integration patterns, APIs, and data flows

  • Ability to work effectively with engineering and architecture teams
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in multi\-country D365 Finance rollouts

  • Knowledge of country\-specific finance procedures (e.g., DSN in France, SII in Spain)

  • Exposure to high\-growth or transformation environments

  • Experience in maintaining standardised processes, whilst allowing for Country variations to meet regulatory/legal frameworks

  • Familiarity with enterprise\-scale CRM and Finance integration models

  • Stable platform with decreasing incident trends

  • Improved SLA compliance and support responsiveness

  • Reduced recurring issues and process inefficiencies

  • Delivery of scalable, well\-governed solutions
