Your impact
As a Lead Cloud Application Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of OpenText cloud services. You will play a key role in automating software deployments, managing application lifecycles, monitoring service health, and driving continuous improvement across our cloud platforms. Working closely with development, infrastructure, security, and support teams, you will help ensure our services remain stable, scalable, and secure while contributing to a DevSecOps\-driven operating model.

- Ownership of application deployment, release automation, and operational excellence across cloud\-hosted services.
- Opportunity to work with modern DevOps and automation technologies in a large\-scale cloud environment.
- A hands\-on role focused on service reliability, application operations, and continuous improvement rather than traditional infrastructure administration.
- Collaboration with globally distributed engineering, support, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Exposure to enterprise cloud platforms, monitoring solutions, and automation frameworks.
- Experience in application operations, cloud operations, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar technical environment.
- Experience deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting enterprise applications in cloud or virtualized environments.
- Understanding of software architecture and Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C\#, SQL, and Azure.
- Hands\-on experience with automation and Infrastructure\-as\-Code tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational support tools such as New Relic, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with knowledge of networking concepts, load balancing, clustering, and service availability best practices.
