We are a privately owned, independent home care provider based in Burnham\-on\-Sea.

While we support a wide range of individuals, Learning Disability and Autism support is a key area of growth for us.
As an established and trusted provider, we are now building and developing this as a more specialist service within Neighbourhood Care, ensuring a tailored, person\-led approach.
Due to this expansion, we are introducing a new specialist role to support this journey.
The Role
This position is focused on supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism to live independently and confidently.
You will:
- Support with daily routines and personal care
- Promote independence and life skills
- Provide emotional support and structure
- Assist with medication where required
- Support access to the community, hobbies, and activities
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships
Experience
Experience is essential for this role.
You should have previous experience supporting individuals with:
- Learning Disabilities
- Autism
- Or similar complex needs
- Is patient, understanding, and adaptable
- Is calm and confident in their approach
- Has a genuine passion for making a difference
You’ll be working locally across Burnham, Highbridge and Brent Knoll — meaning:
- Minimal travel
- More time with the people you support
- Consistency and continuity of care

What We Need From You
- A kind, caring, and compassionate nature
- Previous experience in Learning Disability and/or Autism support
- A full driving licence and access to a car
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Willingness to learn and grow with the role
- Someone who wants to be part of something meaningful and growing
