Landscape Project Manager

£36,000–£37,000 per year, depending on experience

Studio Siarl is a landscape design and build practice based in Worcester. We create carefully considered gardens and landscapes across Worcestershire, the Cotswolds and the wider Midlands, bringing design, planting and construction together.

As we develop our in\-house construction service, we are looking for an experienced Landscape Project Manager to work closely with Jonathan Siarl, our Founder / Creative Lead. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the planning and delivery of high\-quality landscape projects and help shape how a growing business operates.

The role

You will take projects from pre\-construction planning through to completion and handover. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed quotations, costings and project budgets from drawings, specifications and site information.


• Planning programmes, labour, materials, equipment and deliveries.


• Coordinating landscape teams, suppliers, subcontractors and specialist trades.


• Visiting sites regularly to monitor progress, workmanship, safety and programme.


• Managing project expenditure, margins and variations.


• Keeping clients informed and resolving day\-to\-day construction issues.


• Working with the design team to ensure the finished garden reflects the design intent.


• Maintaining project records and supporting appropriate health and safety documentation.


• Managing snagging, completion and handover.


• Helping develop Studio Siarl’s estimating and project management systems.

This is a management role with regular time on site. You will need to understand how landscape works are built and be comfortable making practical decisions as projects progress.

About you

You will have experience in landscape construction, garden construction or a closely related field, with a strong understanding of both hard and soft landscaping. You should be able to read landscape drawings, prepare quotations and budgets, organise people and suppliers, and manage projects through to completion.

We are looking for someone who communicates well with clients and site teams, pays close attention to detail and takes responsibility for both the quality and commercial performance of their projects. Experience delivering high\-quality residential gardens would be especially valuable.

A full UK driving licence is required, as the role involves regular travel between the Worcester studio and project sites.
