Pay : £12\.89 per hour
Bonus: £100 attendance bonus

An opportunity has arisen for a Lab Technician to join our existing team based at our site in Bridge of Allan, Stirling. This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out 7\. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out testing of raw materials through to finished product.
*Key responsibilities include:*
- Calibration of lab equipment
- Media Preparation
- Carry out raw milk testing, process testing, final product testing (chemical/physical/microbiological) and recording of results
- Carry out hygiene swabs
- Advise Lab team leader when consumables and solutions are needing replenished
- Ensure that formal documented systems are maintained and developed as appropriate to the overall requirements of the business.
- Ensure lab department is clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements and adhere to HR policies and procedures
The successful candidate should ideally have experience of handling food in a fast paced environment and a basic food hygiene certificate. This role is subject to a monthly attendance bonus.
