As part of the L2/L3 Ground Segment Maintenance organisation, you will take responsibility for the documentation management activities, ensuring consistency, traceability, and efficiency across maintenance operations.
You will act as the focal point between L2/L3 maintenance teams, Product Assurance (PA), engineering stakeholders, and supporting functions, driving structured processes and continuous improvement.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate documentation management activities, including versioning, consolidation, and release of L2/L3 maintenance documentation
- Ensure alignment between segment\-level documentation versions and maintenance\-specific releases
- Define, maintain, and enforce documentation and planning workflows across the teams.
- Oversee the end\-to\-end lifecycle of maintenance documentation:
+ Integration and consolidation with maintenance updates
+ Release preparation and traceability
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with configuration and documentation standards
- Consolidate and present planning and documentation status to internal stakeholders and management
- Support and mentor junior profiles and interns within the planning and documentation teams
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, or gaps in current processes and propose improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation or tooling enhancements
- Interface with IT and Software Development teams to support the implementation of process improvements and automation solutions
- You will play a key role in structuring and stabilising critical support functions for L2/L3 maintenance, contributing directly to the reliability and long\-term sustainability of the Galileo Ground Segment

- University Degree in Engineering, Information and Documentation Management, Communication, or a related field
- Proven experience in documentation management, configuration management, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of structured processes in complex
- Good level of English (reading and writing), essential for working with international documentation
- Highly organized, methodical, and detail\-oriented, with a structured approach to work
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams
- Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities across parallel workstreams
- Proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with:
Product Assurance or Quality processes
+ Software or system maintenance lifecycle
- Experience or interest in:
+ Document management tools (e.g., version control systems, collaborative platforms)
+ Process definition and optimization
- Curiosity for space programmes, large\-scale systems, and international
- Analytical mindset and continuous improvement attitude
