KS2 Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak from September 2026 on a full-time, ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be working within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils across the classroom and providing targeted interventions where required. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working within Upper Key Stage 2 and possesses a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within Upper Key Stage 2


• A good knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum


• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff


• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach


• A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
