Reed Education are delighted to be working with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Doncaster, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and support pupils at a key stage in their learning journey.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum

  • Support pupils in developing advanced skills in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects

  • Prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments (e.g., SATs) where applicable

  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet varied needs

  • Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that promotes independence and critical thinking

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge, including assessment frameworks and SATs preparation

  • Is engaging, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching

  • Possesses excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • Is proactive and committed to ongoing professional development
