Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-organised, 3-form entry primary school in Slough that is seeking a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year. This is a stable, forward-thinking school with strong leadership and a reputation for supporting staff exceptionally well. The role is flexible on year level dpending on the candidate.

The Role • Full-time KS2 class teacher (year group to be confirmed based on experience)

• Full class teacher duties including planning, assessment, reporting, and parent meetings


• Collaborative planning with two other teachers in the year group


• Opportunity to take on subject responsibilities if desired


• Potential for extension into the 2027-2028 academic year depending on performance

Requirements • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Strong KS2 teaching experience or well-supported ECT placement experience


• Effective behaviour management and ability to create an engaging learning environment


• A reflective practitioner committed to improving outcomes for all learners


• Able to commit for the full academic year
