Kitchen Porter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen. Duties:
\- Assist the kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking tasks
\- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
\- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
\- Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces
\- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
\- Receive and store deliveries of food supplies
\- Assist with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
\- Follow all health and safety regulations
\- Transportation of guests

Qualifications:
\- Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred
\- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
\- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
\- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
\- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Skills:
\- Help with various kitchen tasks as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
\- Assist in cooking and food preparation activities
\- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
\- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast\-paced kitchen environment
\- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant kitchen operations is desirable
\- Basic culinary skills are an advantage

Pay scale is dependant on age and experience and above National Living Wage.
