After more than 12 years’ experience in the bakery and pastry segment in Greater Lisbon, focused on quality, innovation and the circular economy, A Padaria Portuguesa wants to consolidate its presence in the everyday lives of more Portuguese people.

The expansion to the Porto region requires the creation of specialised local teams, which is why we are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant (m/f).

Role:

Ensure, under the guidance of the shop manager, the production and preparation of small meals according to the available range.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of light meals (salads, sandwiches, snacks, etc.);


• Cleaning the preparation area;


• Ensure and verify compliance with cleanliness and food hygiene standards;


• Support the other areas of the store, whenever necessary;


• Anticipating and resolving any possible conflicts within the team.

Requirements

• Experience in the role;


• Like working in the kitchen area;


• Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety;


• Like the role’s versatility (support at the counter, in the pantry, kitchen, etc.)


• Customer focus;


• Flexibility;


• Organised and process driven;


• Friendly and good natured;


• Availability to work in a system of rotating days off.
