Kitchen Assistant / Food Production Operative (Mon-Fri)
Monday\-Friday daytime role. No evening service, split shifts or regular weekend working.

SALARY: £28,000 per annum

West London Bakeries is an established bakery and food production business based in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.
We produce cakes, sweet treats and premium canapés for customers across the UK. Everything is made by our team on site, with a focus on quality, consistency and excellent customer service.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our production team.
This is a daytime role working as part of a small team preparing and packing a range of food products. Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, catering or food production environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
WORKING HOURS
Full\-time permanent position
37\.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Typical working hours are approximately 7:00am \- 3:00pm
Some flexibility may occasionally be required during busy periods
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\- Assisting with the preparation and assembly of premium canapés
\- Preparing ingredients, fillings, garnishes and toppings
\- Helping produce cakes, brownies and other bakery products
\- Weighing, portioning and packing products
\- Washing up and keeping equipment clean
\- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
\- Supporting stock rotation and general kitchen organisation
\- Helping prepare customer orders for dispatch
\- Working as part of the production team to meet daily targets
