Kitchen Assistant

Salary \- £26,436\.80 \+ overtime

The Pear Tree, Purton, Wiltshire SN5 4ED

Full Time \- 40 hours per week

Start Date \- 09/09/2026

Artemis are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant based at The Pear Tree, the successful candidate must be self\-motivated, have a passion for good food and service, calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team. Experience in weddings and conferences, 100\+ covers, fine dining, together with a strong background in food led establishments.

Requirements

• Own transport is essential due to the remote location


• Candidates must be eligible to work full\-time in the UK


• Some commercial kitchen experience

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chef / Manager on duty


• Operating automated dishwasher


• Hand wash and sanitising large kitchen prep items


• Cleaning of kitchen equipment \& surfaces


• Some food preparation


• H\&S \- training will be given


• Food Hygiene – training will be given
