Shift Pattern Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 \- 14:15
Main duties and responsibilities
- Contributing to a team culture focused on exceptional service, every time, for everyone.
- Providing excellent customer service by being attentive, responsive, and friendly.
- Communicating effectively with clients, guests, and team members
- Upholding consistent standards in presentation and products, regularly assessing progress based on client feedback to enhance experiences.
- Contributing to creating a positive work environment
- Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Adhering to Company rules, and professional standards and procedures (COSHH, EHO, Food Hygiene standards)
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
- Assisting in the timely preparation of menu items under the guidance of the Chef or Catering manager.
- Assisting with the setup of catering equipment, tables, chairs, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Collaborating with the catering team to create visually appealing and organized displays.
- Providing friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for our clients.
- Assisting in plating and presenting dishes to maintain high\-quality standards, ensuring correct meal portions to minimise waste.
- Reporting any defects in equipment or premises to the line manager.
- Supporting catering staff during events by ensuring a smooth flow of service.
- Addressing customer requests and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Performing any other ad hoc duties as deemed necessary
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Ability to multitask. and works well under pressure.
- Be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
- Excellent customer service skills and a team player.
- Garda vetting required
