Kennel and Cattery Assistant

We are currently hiring Kennel Assistant to join our team. Working two days a week on a rota so weekend work would be expected, Also some bank Hoildays .

A successful candidate will be an advocate for the well\-being of our animals and have a strong background handling dogs. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to work in a fast\-paced and stress\-filled environment, along with exceptional communication skills. Training on site is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Feed, groom, walk, and exercise dogs.


• Clean up after dogs.


• Maintain dog records and medical histories.


• Document customer information and payment methods.


• Operate basic office equipment

Pay: £10\.85\-£12\.71 per hour

Expected hours: 18\.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newark\-on\-Trent NG22 9EY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

• Animal care: 1 year (preferred)
