About the Role:

As a Junior Underwriter within DSG Prestige, you will play a key role in supporting the Underwriting process for the high\-end assets and vehicles, working closely with Sales and the Payouts team to ensure a seamless experience for both dealers and customers.

You will be responsible for assessing and underwriting finance applications, ensuring decisions are made in line with policy and with the best customer outcomes in mind. This includes liaising directly with Sales, dealerships, lenders, and customers to gather the required information, request documentation, and provide timely updates throughout the process.

Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both over the phone, via SMS and email, will be essential in delivering a five\-star service. You’ll also act as a reliable support to your team and line manager, contributing to a collaborative and customer\-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Underwriting \& Proposal Management

  • Action and assess new proposals, prioritising workflows based on customer needs and business requirements.

  • Underwrite finance applications in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.

  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
Stakeholder Communication \& Support
  • Collaborate with Sales and the Payout team to progress deals efficiently from submission to completion.

  • Maintain proactive communication with sales, dealers, lenders and customers, ensuring all parties are kept informed at every stage.

  • Support your team and line manager with day\-to\-day tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation \& Process Management
  • Request supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Review additional information before submission to lenders to ensure it supports the proposal.

  • Chase lenders for decisions and follow up on outstanding invoices to progress deals swiftly.

  • Assess dealerships to ensure they meet the company's criteria

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on attention to detail, product knowledge, and clear communication.

About You:

Methodical, patient, process driven individual with great communication skills. A confident team player is essential along with the ability to work independently.

Experience working within the finance sector would be preferred, but is not essential. You will have administrative experience, be analytical and organised, and have excellent communication skills.
