Overview
We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer \& Software Developer to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across systems engineering and software development, contributing to the design and implementation of the control systems and software features of our range of machines.
What you will do:\-
Flash and install firmware to embedded devices.
Configure Systems – Linux based systems that are Raspberry pi based
Test software and configurations to aid in development.
Build and assemble hardware and components for production and for development.
Work with a senior developer to implement features to existing or new product lines
Have hands on experience connecting and controlling systems to make sure the run as expected and are reliable long term.
Configuring Production machines (linux \+ embedded devices)
Advise on repairs and customer support procedures.
Diagnose systems onsite and remotely.
Day\-to\-day:
You will work alongside a team to produce and develop new products and support ongoing product lines. This can consist of Testing and implementing prototype features, building updates for ongoing products diagnosing machines onsite or via video call.
This also included assisting with the production of Machine Components and the configuration of machines using premade tools and remote Linux connections.
Role varies day to day and there are always on\-going projects to switch between.
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
