Junior Software Engineer

ABOUT US:

Mobwizards, part of Go4Mobility Group, is a fast\-growing, agile ad\-tech company operating in the mobile Value\-Added Services (mVAS) space across multiple international markets. We build and run the infrastructure that connects mobile operators, advertisers, and users—from direct carrier billing flows to campaign tracking, data pipelines, and internal tools.

You’ll work closely with the CTO on backend systems, APIs, integrations, and internal tools, helping to build and improve the technology that powers our business.

This role requires strong problem\-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and partners in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software


• Develop software technical specifications based on customer requirements


• Execute overall analysis, design, configuration, implementation and testing of software, typically integrated in a project team


• Execute software maintenance activities, including the analysis of problems reported by technical support or customer, and provide correspondent feedback


• Bug analysis and correction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.


• Professional experience is not required or up to 1 year of professional experience.


• Programming skills using PHP;


• Knowledge of object\-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms;


• Basic database modeling and integration capabilities (SQL).


• Knowledge of Unix/Bash Scripting.


• Nice to have skills: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and VueJS.


• English proficiency at an independent user level (mandatory).


• Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week at the Lisbon office).
