THE ROLE \& THE TEAM

As a Junior Risk Manager of our GR team, you will support the identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities as part of our six\-monthly risk assessments and will also support the ongoing development of our risk management and business continuity management.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You’ll work with various stakeholders to understand business context and risk relevant information, and contribute to developing the risk report.


• You’ll support the implementation of a solution and measure it against success criteria (e.g. customer feedback).


• You plan, prepare and support the risk workshops for the entire Zalando Group.


• You support in maintaining the risk catalog and the documentation of controls and countermeasures.


• You support in maintaining and conducting risk analysis.


• You support in preparation of risk reports for the Zalando top management.


• You support in improving the risk management system (RMS).


• You support in optimizing the Business Continuity Management (BCM).

• You completed studies in Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.


• You already gained at least first professional experience in similar role, preferably working in an international environment.


• You have a broad understanding of business processes, i.e. logistics, marketing, procurement, IT development), as well as knowledge of practice\-relevant standards such as IDW PS 981, ISO 31000, IDW PS 982 and ISO 22301\.


• You have a proficient level of written and verbal skills in both German and English.


• You consistently demonstrate a customer centric approach and start to flag continuous improvements initiatives within your area.


• You take an active interest in market trends.
