Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager will support the One Stop Shop team by assisting Senior Project Managers with project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks across multiple retrofit and renewable energy projects. This is an excellent entry\-level opportunity for a graduate in Construction Management or a candidate looking to build a career in renewables or project management. The role offers strong exposure to live projects, end\-to\-end processes, and clear scope to grow into a Project Manager role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Project Managers with the day\-to\-day coordination of multiple OSS projects.
- Assist in keeping projects on track by following up on outstanding actions, documentation, and timelines.
- Act as a central support point to help “pick up” tasks the wider team may not have capacity to progress.
- Coordinate between internal teams, installers, suppliers, and external contractors as required.
- Prepare, organise, and maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Assist with OSS\-related paperwork, compliance documentation, and file management.
- Support with grant, audit, and project tracking documentation where required.
- Ensure project files are complete, up to date, and audit ready.
- Provide administrative support for OSS accounts, including tracking documentation and assisting with account queries.
- Support data entry and updates across internal systems and project trackers.
- Assist with reporting, status updates, and general admin tasks linked to OSS projects.
- Proactively identify gaps, delays, or issues and flag them to Senior Project Managers.
- Assist in improving processes and ways of working within the team over time.
- Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).
- Suitable for recent graduates or candidates looking to break into renewable energy or project management.
- Construction industry experience is a desirable.
- Previous administrative, coordination or project support experience.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to step in where support is needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, project\-driven environment.
- Interest in construction, renewables, retrofitting, or project management.
