Junior Product Artwork Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and technically minded Junior Product Artwork Engineer who is fluent in Mandarin and English. The ideal candidate will combine design sensibility with strong technical understanding to transform creative concepts into precise, production\-ready files, support production in the Far East.

This position bridges design and engineering, requiring both accuracy and creativity. You’ll ensure that artwork files meet production standards and, at times, help explain the technical reasoning behind structure, tolerances, and material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Convert flat artwork into accurate dielines and production\-ready CAD drawings for packaging.


• Establish clear layer structures, define bleed, safety zones, and tolerances.


• Conduct thorough self\-checks for fonts, images, resolution, dimensions, and alignment.


• Collaborate with the design and sampling teams to support mock\-ups, proofing, and revisions.


• Review and interpret schematics and CAD drawings to ensure production accuracy.


• Communicate clearly with both English\- and Mandarin\-speaking stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.


• Maintain close attention to detail and ensure all tasks meet quality and delivery deadlines.

Experience \& Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and CAD software.


• Familiar with design and production terms: dieline, layers, tolerance, bleed, safety area, GD\&T.


• Basic understanding of mechanical or structural design principles is a plus.


• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with ability to identify and correct technical issues.


• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin.


• Fast learner with strong organisational and time management skills.
