Our client is looking for a Junior OT Operational Analyst to join an operational team of 9 specialists delivering OT services to multiple international internal business entities active in energy production, trading, facility management, gas storage, and related industrial activities.

The role is positioned at the intersection of IT and Operational Technology (OT), within an industrial and process\-oriented environment. The team manages and supports a large\-scale data platform based mainly on the AVEVA PI ecosystem, used for real\-time process data collection, historization, calculations, analytics, reporting, and integrations with external tools such as Power BI, AWS, and custom applications.

The selected candidate will contribute primarily to the operational continuity of the platform through monitoring, incident management, user support, and system administration activities. Over time, the role will evolve toward implementation and project\-oriented responsibilities involving interfaces, data flows, scripting, and technical integrations.

The environment is international, collaborative, and highly operational, serving more than 4,000 users and hundreds of connected industrial data sources worldwide.

Your missions

Ensure the operational continuity and reliability of OT data platforms and related services.

Participate in the monitoring, maintenance, and incident management of multiple PI systems.

Provide first\-line and second\-line support to end users and internal stakeholders.

Act periodically as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for operational incidents and user requests.

Support users on PI calculations, analytical models (AF), and tag management.

Contribute to installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, interfaces, and client software.

Assist in the implementation of new technical solutions and data integrations.

Participate in the development of small technical tools, scripts, and automation solutions.

Collaborate with operational, IT, and business teams in an international industrial environment.

Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Your activities:

Operational Support \& Monitoring

Monitor OT and PI systems to ensure service availability and data consistency.

Perform operational checklists and health checks on systems and data sources.

Manage incidents, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution processes.

Validate data collection and interface connectivity from industrial sources.

Provide weekly SPOC coverage on a rotating basis within the team.

User Support \& Administration

Assist end users with PI calculations and analytical frameworks (AF).

Support tag management and historian\-related requests.

Provide guidance and user assistance on PI applications and services.

Deliver user training when required.

Technical Implementation

Install and configure servers, interfaces, and client applications.

Configure and maintain new PI interfaces and integrations.

Set up and maintain data flows toward cloud environments such as AWS.

Perform data migration and data integration tasks.

Develop small custom applications, scripts, or web solutions using technologies such as .NET, HTML5, or Python.

Collaboration \& Communication

Communicate clearly with users, business teams, and IT stakeholders regarding technical issues and operational status.

Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative operational environment.

Participate occasionally in short international missions or onsite visits.

You have the following skills:

Technical Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in IT environments.

Good understanding of IT infrastructure and Windows operating systems.

Basic network knowledge.

Knowledge of one or several of the following technologies:

RDBMS

SQL

Web APIs

HTML5

Python

Interest in industrial IT / OT environments.

Knowledge of real\-time systems, SCADA environments, or process historians is a strong advantage.

Experience with the AVEVA PI platform is a major plus.

Understanding of cloud integrations and data flows is appreciated.

Soft Skills

Ability to troubleshoot both simple and complex technical issues.

Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.

Languages

Very good level in English.

Very good command of either Dutch or French, with a good level in the other language and willingness to actively use it.

Additional languages are considered a plus.

Other Requirements

Driving license and personal vehicle required.

Willingness to travel occasionally for short onsite missions.

Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week with hybrid working possibilities.

Flexibility regarding operational schedules and SPOC rotation hours.

Votre profil

You have at least 2 years of professional experiences in IT

If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
