Position Summary

The Junior Licensing Manager will identify new licensing opportunities and prepare licensing projects and is responsible for securing commercial opportunities across the business.

The role supports the development and management of licensing programs across various product categories. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with licensees, licensors, and strategic partners, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring consistent brand positioning across licensed products and partnerships.

This is a highly cross\-functional and commercially driven role that works closely with internal teams. The goal is to successfully manage licensing partnerships, identify and convert new business opportunities, execute licensing agreements efficiently, and ensure that products and collaborations align with each brand’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development through targeted sales strategies, identifying and approaching prospective licensees, building a strong partner pipeline, and converting opportunities into licensing partnerships

  • Manage and further develop existing licensing partnerships with licensors, licensees, and external partners

  • Identify new licensing opportunities, product categories, and strategic partnerships

  • Develop and pitch licensing opportunities to potential partners, including tailored business cases, presentations, and commercial proposals

  • Support the development of business plans, presentations, and licensing strategies

  • Create sales projections and oversee the work to ensure these projections are achieved

  • Negotiate and manage licensing agreements and coordinate relevant contract terms

  • Monitor royalty payments, revenue reporting, budgets, and contract renewals

  • Collaborate with internal teams on sales projects, contract coordination, product approvals, launches, and brand extension projects

  • Support product development for major lifestyle accounts, including managing design submissions and overseeing approval processes

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and category opportunities to identify new growth potential

  • Maintain licensing databases, contract files, and relevant project documentation

  • Prepare reports on licensing performance, financial results, and ongoing projects

  • Ensure that licensed products and partnerships align with each brand’s identity, positioning, and quality standards
Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally related to licensing, sales, or business development

  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, pitch concepts, and close licensing deals

  • · Capability to develop a strong Commercial presentation/deck with relevant information, value arguments and benchmark

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt flexibly to changing priorities

  • Highly structured, organized, and detail\-oriented way of working

  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities

  • Creative and solution\-oriented mindset

  • Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team

  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a specific industry such as automotive, fashion, design, lifestyle, or a related field

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Familiarity with royalty accounting and compliance audits
