We are seeking a Junior AV Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. No prior AV installation experience is needed; we are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, a passion for technology and a willingness to learn.

Role Overview:

This role provides hands\-on experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of audio\-visual (AV) systems.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers, gain valuable industry knowledge, and assist in AV projects across various sites. They will receive comprehensive training and support/mentoring throughout their development into a confident and capable AV engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the AVM values (positivity, empathy, and innovation) and our reputation with clients, partners, and suppliers.


• Assist in the installation of AV projects, including projectors, displays, speakers, video conferencing systems, and equipment racks.


• Installation and basic programming of AV control systems.


• Learn to read and interpret AV schematics and layout drawings.


• Assist in first and second fix structured cabling – pulling, terminating, soldering, and testing.


• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation.


• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a professional manner.


• Ensure all work meeting industry standards and company quality expectations.


• Follow health \& safety regulations and company procedures on\-site.

• Full UK driving license.


• A real self\-starter who actively seeks feedback and applies learnings to improve performance.


• Interest in audio visual technology, IT, or electrical engineering.


• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.


• Strong problem\-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours.
