Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Designer to join our dynamic marketing and creative team in Brighton on a fixed\-term contract to cover a maternity leave. This is a hands\-on role creating static and video campaign assets for our monthly marketing campaigns across our house of shutter and blinds brands. You’ll adapt creative for a range of platforms and formats, from social and digital advertising to email, in\-store and print, helping to keep our brands looking sharp and consistent.
You’ll also be one of the main point of contact with our printers, managing the production of our printed assets on a regular basis. This is a great opportunity for a creative early in their career to build their skills, work across diverse brands and learn from an experienced design team.

Reporting to: Senior Designer
Contract: Fixed\-term, maternity cover
Key Responsibilities:
- Create static and video assets for monthly marketing campaigns across multiple brands.
- Adapt campaign creative for different platforms and formats, including social media, digital advertising, email, website and e\-commerce.
- Design and produce printed assets, preparing print\-ready files to specification.
- Liaise with printers on a regular basis, including obtaining quotes, supplying artwork, checking proofs and ensuring print quality and delivery deadlines are met.
- Produce motion graphics and edit short\-form video content for campaigns and guides.
- Maintain brand consistency across all outputs, following each brand’s guidelines.
- Manage and organise design files and digital assets so they are easy to find and reuse.
- Work closely with the design team and the wider marketing, content and trading teams to deliver to briefs and deadlines.
- Explore and use AI image and video tools where appropriate to support and speed up the creative process.
- Some experience in a design role (including internships or placements) and a portfolio that shows static and motion work.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects.
- Experience using Figma.
- Good understanding of design principles, typography, layout and colour theory. Understanding of print production, including file preparation, and a willingness to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.
- Experience using AI image and video generation tools.
- Experience with Premiere Pro or other video editing software.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com).
