Team description

The inbound sales team is the first real conversation a small business owner has with SumUp, turning curiosity into confidence in getting paid. With over 4 million businesses already using SumUp worldwide, the team's role is to make sure every French merchant who reaches out gets a clear, honest answer about how SumUp can help them run their business better. It's a role built for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of sales fast, in a team that measures success by how many small businesses it genuinely helps get started.

What you'll do

Engage with inbound leads generated by the marketing team, qualifying, consulting and converting them into customers

Connect with small and medium\-sized businesses by phone and email, building trust and understanding their needs

Deliver product demos and explain clearly how SumUp solves real business challenges

Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, keeping follow\-ups timely and lead conversion smooth

Report regularly on sales performance and stay aligned with team goals and growth targets

What we’re looking for

Experience in a phone\-based or customer\-facing role, such as sales, support or retail

Comfort speaking with people persuasively and warmly, with a solution\-focused approach

Curiosity about fintech, small business and how things work behind the scenes

Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment where learning and adapting are part of the job

Fluency in French and English, with a proactive, team\-first attitude
