Junior Event Manager

Job Summary
As Junior Events Manager, you’ll be mentored directly by our Events Manager, learning every aspect of how we plan and deliver exceptional events. In your first few months you’ll shadow our team, building skills and confidence. Once your training is complete, you’ll take full ownership of events ,from the initial client brief all the way through to the day itself.

Responsibilities

• DURING YOUR TRAINING PERIOD


• Shadow the Events Manager across all stages of event planning and delivery

• Managing events end\-to\-end, from client briefing and planning through to execution and post\-event wrap\-up


• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and venues


• Briefing, leading, and supervising the service team on event days


• Coordinating with the kitchen team on food service and timing


• Ensuring every event meets Trufflehound’s high standards of presentation and service


• Overseeing setup, pack\-down, and post\-event reporting


• Support on\-the\-day operations as manager\-in\-charge, leading the front\-of\-house team


• Learn our systems, standards, and client relationships from the ground up

• A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to build a long\-term career in events


• Experience in hospitality, catering, or events — service, supervisory, or coordination


• Strong interpersonal skills — warm, professional, and clear with clients and team alike


• An organised, proactive mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure


• Ambition to grow and take on increasing responsibility over time


• Sound knowledge of food safety and responsible service of alcohol


• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require


• Based locally in West London, ideally around the W4 area (desirable)


• Driver license(desirable)
