Junior Digital Marketing Co-ordinator
The role of the Junior Digital Marketing Coordinator is to assist the business with its marketing initiatives and programs. The role will assist with coordinating marketing and assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns, creating original content, and conducting market research. Ultimately, the role builds and maintains a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online (and offline) marketing channels. This is achieved by creating, implementing, managing and delivering against the marketing roadmap. The role requires an effective communicator, able to convey messages with clarity whilst also displaying charisma, encouraging people to listen, read, engage and follow
Key skills, attributes and responsibilities required are as follows;
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Strong creativity in developing digital marketing content
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies and tactics to get the word out about the brands and drive qualified traffic to their front door
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio). Liaise with all brand offices/key contacts to ensure content is kept up to date and refreshed
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant platforms
- Where required assist in the creation and optimization of online advertisements through Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
- Support the team in daily marketing administrative tasks
- Collaborate with designers to deliver marketing materials \& campaigns
- Stay up\-to\-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies/tactics to keep the business ahead of its competitors
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Conduct market research and identify trends
- Experience in similar role
- Prepared to be hands on
- Solid data interpretation skills
- Strong emotional intelligence with motivation to learn
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good organisational skills, with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Proficiency with digital marketing/social accounts
- Proficiency with Canva
