Junior Data Analyst

Overview:
PURPOSE \& IMPACT: To assist in the delivery of reporting, analytics, and data management activities that support technical objectives. Through accurate analysis and effective reporting, the role contributes to identifying trends, supporting investigations, and driving continuous improvement opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Services
About the Role \- We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our Technical team within a leading food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the collection, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of data relating to consumer complaints, product quality, technical supply chain performance, and technical operations. This role is ideal for an analytical individual looking to develop their career in data analytics while gaining exposure to food manufacturing, consumer services, quality management, and supply chain operations. The role will work closely with Technical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Consumer Services teams to provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and support business decision\-making.
Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis \& Reporting

+ Develop, maintain, and improve reporting dashboards and KPIs using Power BI
+ Analyse consumer complaint, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
+ Produce regular and ad\-hoc reports for operational and leadership teams
+ Support root cause investigations through data analysis
+ Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of business data

• Consumer Services \& Complaint Analytics

+ Analyse consumer complaint data from Salesforce
+ Monitor complaint trends across products, markets, manufacturing sites, and suppliers
+ Support complaint reduction initiatives through data\-driven insights
+ Prepare monthly and quarterly consumer services performance reports

• Technical Data Support

+ Support the Technical team with performance analysis and reporting
+ Assist in tracking quality incidents and corrective actions
+ Identify emerging trends and recommend preventative actions
+ Support continuous improvement projects across the business

• Systems \& Data Management

+ Maintain and validate data within Salesforce, SAP, Unilab, and other business systems
+ Support users with data queries and reporting requirements
+ Assist with data cleansing and governance activities
+ Contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and data quality

Qualifications:

• Required Skills \& Experience

+ Essential Proven background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics,
+ Strong demonstrable analytical and problem\-solving skills.
+ Working knowledge of:

• Power BI


• Salesforce


• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)


• SAP


• Unilab

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills including:

• Pivot Tables


• XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP


• Data validation


• Basic formulas and reporting

+ Ability to interpret and present data clearly to both technical and non\-technical audiences
+ Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
+ Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• + Experience working within food manufacturing, quality, technical services, FMCG, or supply chain environments. Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, or SQL. Understanding of consumer complaint management processes

+ Awareness of food safety and quality management systems
+ Experience creating executive dashboards and KPI reporting
