Junior Data Analyst Apprentice
Finance Operations
Programme duration: 24 months
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst Apprentice to join our Finance Operations Team in September 2026. Our Apprenticeship scheme is designed to develop our future talent by giving you hands on exposure to projects and real responsibility from day one. You’ll join a dynamic Finance Operations team who will support you throughout with structured training and invaluable industry experience. During your time on programme, you will complete a Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship to develop your knowledge and skills.

- You’ll support the weekly reporting cycle, ensuring data is accurate, complete and available to meet reporting deadlines
- You’ll assist in maintaining data quality across operational and financial reporting, investigating and resolving data issues where appropriate.
- You’ll assist in developing growth strategies and identifying opportunities for expansion
- You’ll support the maintenance of reporting documentation to ensure consistency and understanding across the business.
- You’ll support the management of core data flows withing the reporting framework and data validation.
- You’ll produce regular operational and financial reports to agreed standards and timescales
- You’ll support the development and enhancement of dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- You’ll analyse data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities to improve operational performance.
- You’ll assist with ad hoc data requests and help identify opportunities to automate and standardise recurring reporting requirements
- You’ll support the migration and enhancement of reporting solutions with BI Platforms and self\-service reporting environments.
- You’ll build strong relationships with internal Finance teams other stakeholders across the business.
- You’ll receive mentoring and join a network of emerging talent through our EVRi Emerging Talent Development programme.
- GCSEs – 6/7 (A/B) or above in English, Science and Maths, plus three non\-core subjects at C (4/5\) or above
- Personable and approachable, with a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed.
- Curious and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude.
- Organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks while keeping a positive outlook.
- A great communicator, both in writing and over the phone.
- Resilient and solution\-focused, ready to tackle challenges with creativity.
- Good IIT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working with Power BI, SQL, Databricks and Excel (desirable)
- An interest Finance and Data and willing to lean new skills.
