About RM Funds

RM Funds is a specialist investment management business with offices in Edinburgh and London. We focus on public and private markets, with expertise spanning credit, infrastructure, real estate and alternative investments. Our strategies seek to deliver income and total returns through careful investment selection and active management.

Our team brings together investment professionals who analyse markets, assess businesses and identify opportunities to deploy capital. We work with institutional and professional investors, translating specialist knowledge into investment strategies and long\-term relationships.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic person to help turn our investment expertise into compelling videos, podcasts and digital content.

This is a junior, hands\-on role suited to someone starting their career or with some practical content creation experience. You will manage the production process, with no staff management responsibilities.

You do not need financial services experience or a degree. What matters most is your ability to create great content.

Our investment team will provide the market views and subject knowledge. You will bring the storytelling, filming, editing and creative ideas that make those views engaging.

What you will do

BE CREATIVE!!!

Film interviews, investment discussions and market updates with our team and external guests.

Set up cameras, microphones and lighting to achieve professional picture and sound.

Edit recordings into engaging YouTube videos and podcast episodes.

Turn longer discussions into short clips with strong opening hooks, clear captions and well\-paced editing.

Create thumbnails, simple graphics and supporting social content.

Suggest fresh topics, formats and ways to present complex ideas clearly.

Organise shoots, maintain a content calendar and keep production moving.

Prepare content for LinkedIn, YouTube and podcast platforms, securing internal approval before publication.

Write content or help write content and drive the discussion internally.

Help coordinate themes and schedules.

Review audience engagement and use what you learn to improve future content.

What we are looking for

Above all, you should have a strong creative eye and care about making content people want to watch. You will ideally bring:

Practical experience filming and editing video, whether through employment, study, personal projects or your own channels.

An instinct for storytelling: spotting the interesting moment, finding the right opening and keeping the audience engaged.

Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.

An understanding of sound, lighting, framing and captions.

Confidence creating thumbnails and basic graphics using Canva, Photoshop or similar.

Organisation, attention to detail and the ability to finish work to a deadline.

Confidence working with colleagues and helping people feel comfortable on camera.

Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to experiment and learn.

An interest in business and financial markets would be helpful, but we can teach you about our sector.

What you will get

The opportunity to build a new content operation and influence its style from the outset.

Direct access to experienced investment professionals and interesting external guests.

Creative freedom, clear guidance and feedback.

Hands\-on experience across video, podcasts and digital publishing.

The chance to build a strong professional portfolio as the role develops.

How to apply

Please send your CV and links to two or three examples of content you have personally created. These could include videos, podcasts, social clips, college projects or personal work.

For each example, briefly explain your contribution and why you think it works.

Your portfolio and creative judgement will carry more weight than qualifications or previous job titles. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a short, paid editing exercise.
