Junior CAD Designer

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Create precise CAD drawings and models using industry\-standard software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.


• Assist in developing digital designs for architectural, product, or graphic projects.


• Support the team with web design elements, including HTML and CSS coding.


• Contribute to graphic design tasks, including layout and visual content creation using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.


• Collaborate on multimedia projects by employing Adobe After Effects and Maya for animation and 3D modelling.


• Incorporate photography into design projects to enhance visual storytelling.


• Ensure all designs adhere to project specifications, branding guidelines, and technical standards.


• Maintain organised files of drawings, images, and project documentation for easy access and revision.

• Proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, CAD software, and Sketch.


• Strong knowledge of graphic design programmes including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).


• Experience with web development languages such as HTML and CSS is desirable.


• Familiarity with 3D modelling software like Maya and animation tools such as Adobe After Effects.


• Basic understanding of photography principles to enhance visual content.


• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, diagrams, and digital visuals.


• Organised with excellent attention to detail to produce accurate technical drawings and creative assets.
