Junior Buyer

ASK Technology Ltd is looking for a Buyer to join our busy purchasing team to work at our office in Basingstoke. Key Responsibilities
· Learn all the technical and strategic elements of the procurement process.
· Supplier management and vendor service levels.
· Booking in stock, checking, kitting, and packing.
· Relationship Management: both internally and externally will be vital.
· Building strong relationships with our supplier base to maximise commercial opportunities.
What We’re looking for
· Previous experience in purchasing or buying at assistant or junior level, but not essential as training will be given.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· IT Literacy including Microsoft
· Ability to work well within a team.
About our offer:
· 8 Hour Shift \- Monday to Friday working (08\.30 to 17\.00\), 30 Mins Lunch break and 2 x 15 mins breaks during the day.
· 20 Days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays offered at the start of the year with an extra day for every year served up to a maximum of 25 days. Company closes between Xmas and New Year of which three days will be deducted from the holiday allowance.
· Pension \- You will be auto\-enrolled into the Nest Pension Scheme at the commencement of your employment, but you may opt out of the plan.
· Private Health Scheme
· Paid Overtime at 1\.5 times hourly pay.
· Ongoing training will be provided from day 1 no matter your experience level.
