Junior Business Analyst

Workplace: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Role:

• Serve as the liaison between the client and the technical team;


• Actively participate in meetings with the client in English;


• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders;


• Prepare functional and requirements documentation, supporting the definition of solutions;


• Define user stories and acceptance criteria;


• Clarify functional questions with the technical team;


• Prepare and execute functional tests;


• Document functional requirements;


• Create test cases and scenarios;


• Validate deliverables against defined requirements;


• Record and track defects (bugs);


• Support the execution of UAT with the client;


• Ensure alignment between client expectations and the delivered solution.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;


• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Business Analyst;


• Knowledge of functional analysis and requirements gathering;


• Experience in developing functional tests and using test management tools;


• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum);


• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence;


• Ability to structure clear documentation;


• Ability to lead meetings with clients;


• Experience in the public sector is a plus;


• Fluency in English (required);


• Strong communication skills;


• Attention to detail;


• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking;


• Proactivity and autonomy.
