Junior AI ML Engineer

We are opening a Junior AI / ML Engineer position to strengthen the data and artificial intelligence team of our client based in Geneva. The role is part of a growing AI activity and contributes to multiple ongoing initiatives, from operational projects to experimental prototypes, in a technically demanding and purpose\-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities
------------------------

• Evaluate and select publicly available machine learning models to address use cases such as text analysis, document processing or content classification


• Integrate selected models into Python\-based services exposed through containerized APIs


• Adapt, fine\-tune or develop machine learning models according to project requirements


• Design and prototype innovative AI\-driven applications in an exploratory and iterative manner


• Deploy solutions within an on‑premise infrastructure and ensure smooth integration with existing systems


• Collaborate with technical and non\-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions


• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment practices


• Master’s degree in computer science, data science or a related engineering field


• Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in machine learning or AI\-related roles


• Solid hands\-on experience with model development and fine\-tuning using PyTorch


• Good programming skills in Python and general software development practices


• Understanding of web application fundamentals (APIs, HTTP communication, backend/frontend separation)


• Familiarity with containerization tools and development workflows (Docker, Git, CI/CD)


• Basic knowledge of SQL; exposure to Kubernetes or automation tools is an advantage


• Fluent in English; French is considered a plus, along with a strong interest in impactful, mission\-driven projects
