About the role:
As a Founding Principal Sonar Engineer, you will take ownership of our acoustic technology stack. You will transition our initial concepts into market\-ready ocean mapping products.
What you will do:
Lead the development of the sonar stack and build working, deployable prototypes.
Architect the data pipeline for processing high\-resolution acoustic data.
Make high\-stakes decisions on hardware integration, embedded systems, and signal processing.
What we are looking for:
Deep technical expertise in sonar systems, acoustic signal processing, or related fields.
Ability to find the correct balance between quality and cost.
Experience building prototypes and taking them to production.
A founder’s mindset.
