Joiner (Multi Trade)
Location: West Midlands (Occupied Social Housing)Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per weekContract: 2-3 months (sick cover) with potential extension and possible permanent rolePay: Up to £25.50 per hour
Your new companyA West Midlands housing association is seeking an experienced Joiner Multi-Trade to carry out day-to-day reactive maintenance in occupied social housing properties. This is a short-term contract covering sickness, with the possibility of extension and long-term employment.
Your new role
- Responsive carpentry repairs in occupied homes
- Basic multi-trade tasks such as patch plastering, minor plumbing, tiling and making good
- Working independently across local housing stock
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery
- Previous experience in social housing reactive maintenance
- Own van and tools preferred (option for van provision later)
- Strong carpentry skills with multi-trade capability
- Up to £25.50 per hour
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 2-3 month contract with potential extension
- Possibility of becoming a full-time permanent employee
