Hours: Approx. 15–20 hours per week (Split Shifts: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM \& 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)About Us:At H\&A Explorer, we are a premier, specialist provider of home\-to\-school transport for children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across Cardiff. We pride ourselves on providing safe, calm, and reliable journeys, ensuring that vulnerable local students start and end their school day with a friendly, reassuring face.Who We Are Looking For:This role is a perfect match for semi\-retired individuals, former emergency services or armed forces personnel, and school lunchtime supervisors who want a rewarding community role that fits around their lifestyle. If you want a part\-time job that keeps you active but leaves your weekends, evenings, and school summer holidays completely free, we want to hear from you!Available Roles:

  • Drivers: Navigating dedicated, assigned ALN routes across Cardiff. (Company vehicle, insurance, and fuel fully covered!)

  • Passenger Assistants (Escorts): Support the children, keep them engaged, and ensure their safety throughout the trip.

Requirements:
  • Drivers: Just a valid, clean UK Driving Licence (held for at least 3 years for insurance purposes). No personal vehicle or petrol costs required!

  • Passenger Assistants: An empathetic, patient, and caring personality. Experience with additional needs is a bonus.

  • Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check or be willing to undergo one (we will help you apply).

  • Absolute reliability—the children and their families rely on seeing the same team every day. \[1, 2]
