About the Role
FanzOut is where fans connect. Concerts, sports watch parties and local meetups all live in one place. Organisers can also run their events end to end on it: they create listings, keep track of who's coming and sell tickets directly through the platform.
The team is growing, and we need an IT Support Manager to own our internal IT setup. You'll keep our infrastructure stable, secure and reliable, so everyone can get their work done, whatever device or platform they're on. This role is based in our Berlin office, working hybrid alongside the rest of the FanzOut team.
What You Will Do
*IT Support \& Systems Management*
- Lead IT support and build and coordinate the support function as the team grows
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across Apple and Windows devices
- Administer and maintain Active Directory
- Manage Google Workspace and the Microsoft 365 admin center
- Manage and deploy Apple devices via Jamf
- Apply working knowledge of TCP/IP networking to diagnose connectivity issues
- Configure, monitor and support VPN access for the team
- Implement and enforce IT security policies
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks and end\-user devices
- Make sure office technology and systems run smoothly day to day
- Prepare, deploy and recover equipment for onboarding, offboarding and other employee lifecycle changes
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and device records
- Plan and roll out IT projects and new systems
- Work with other teams to improve workflows with the right tools
- Document support cases, system changes and processes, so support can scale as we grow
- Train colleagues on the tools and applications they use
- Stay current on emerging tools and best practices in IT administration
- Proven experience in IT support or systems administration, ideally in a lead role
- Hands\-on experience with Active Directory, Google Workspace and the Microsoft 365 admin center
- Experience managing Apple devices via Jamf
- Solid understanding of VPN configuration and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows environments
- Project planning skills to deliver technical initiatives
- Strong troubleshooting skills, an ownership mindset and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage priorities independently
- Fluent English; German is a plus
- Experience with VMware or SQL databases
- Certifications in IT security or project management
