Junior IT Support Analyst (Temporary Contract)

One of our top law firm clients based in the City of London is seeking a Junior IT Support Analyst to join their IT team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their IT career, with up to 2 years' experience, looking to gain hands-on experience within a professional services environment and develop their technical support skills.

Key Responsibilities • Provide 1st line IT support to users across the business, assisting with hardware, software, and Microsoft 365-related queries.

• Log, monitor, and resolve IT incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, escalating where necessary.


• Support the setup and configuration of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.


• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing equipment for new starters.


• Provide basic support for meeting room and video conferencing technology.


• Maintain accurate IT asset records and support hardware inventory management.


• Deliver excellent customer service and desk-side support to users at all levels.

Requirements • Up to 2 years' experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support role.

• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.


• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills within a professional environment.


• Experience supporting users in a legal or professional services setting would be beneficial but is not essential.


• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
