Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex IT projects in a fast\-paced financial institution environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule, scope, and budget. You will work closely with cross\-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts, including project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and software artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.

  • Establish and oversee Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels, from senior management to project team members.

  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and provide status updates to key stakeholders.

  • Prioritise activities, address risks/issues, and manage resources efficiently across various departments.

  • Build a collaborative and productive team environment, driving accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines.

  • Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile application development in a financial institution environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of solid practical experience managing complex projects.

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in project management, information technology, creativity, business analysis, data analytics, problem\-solving, change/release management, multi\-tasking, and service management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written and oral English.
Education \& Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are preferred.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and related tools (JIRA, Confluence).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast\-paced environment.
