<p style="text-align: left;">As we are expanding internationally at a high pace, you will be at the centre of our business development - this is a very exciting time to join Catawiki!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Our Engineering teams are interdisciplinary: you will cooperate directly with Backend, Frontend, iOS, and Android Engineers, and together you and your team are responsible for all functionality of our Catawiki apps and our web app within the team’s product domain. You will create software that helps our buyers and our sellers by delivering new features and reducing user friction. Apart from the Engineers, your other team members include a UX Designer, Product Manager, and your Tech Lead Manager, who leads and guides the Engineers on a daily basis.</p>
<h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: left;">Here at Catawiki, you will make an impact by improving and delivering product innovations for the Catawiki platform. Along with other Engineering team members, you will build beautiful and adaptable native mobile app features on top of scalable microservices. These serve both our sellers and our buyers. You'll ensure that your features work well on all recent iOS and iPadOS devices, and recent OS versions. You keep track of system performance, and optimise it where needed.<br>In addition, you will use A/B experiments, agreed upon with your Product Manager and User Experience Designer, and backed by data analysis, to add product features and deliver the best user experience on the platform.</p>

<div class="p-rich_text_section">We look for Engineers who are motivated to learn new things, ship new features, and pursue new and interesting challenges. Our iOS stack is fully Swift-based, our screens are both UIKit and SwiftUI, and we use the VIPER architecture.</div>

<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A minimum of <strong data-stringify-type="bold">5</strong> years of experience</span> as an iOS Engineer using Swift as your main stack.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proven experience working in product companies and collaborating closely with other engineers and product managers to become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience in designing and implementing features with a focus on stability, performance, and consistency.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You are proficient in native technologies - SwiftUI, UIKit, and the Swift standard library.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You routinely apply object-oriented and functional, imperative and declarative programming paradigms where needed.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You have experience with testing frameworks - XCTest, XCUITest, Quick & Nimble, snapshot testing, and/or Swift Testing.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You have an understanding of good programming principles - SOLID, DRY - and have a good problem-solving approach and mindset.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You can discuss and propose API designs with engineers with a focus on user-friendliness and long-term benefits.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">When building features, you consider performance, testing, security, localisation, accessibility, and observability.</li>
<li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">You know how to monitor and manage an application in production: you build it, you run it, you love it!</li>
</ul>
<div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold"><em data-stringify-type="italic">Bonus Skills:</em></strong><br>While this is an iOS position, familiarity or affinity with other tech stacks (frontend web, backend, Android), and experience running it in production is a great plus. This knowledge will help in collaborating effectively across the stack and optimising frontend-backend interactions.</div>
