We’re seeking an efficient ICQA Operations Manager to take ownership of our fulfilment centre Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA). Our fulfilment centres sit at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing operations network: they are where we manage our fast\-moving inventory. In each fulfilment centre, our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out; each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today.
These fulfilment centres are fast\-paced and high reward environments, where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need the right type of leader to ensure that we deliver as reliably as ever to our customers, while making sure our teams deliver on customer obsession.
Key job responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities in the ICQA Team:
- Lead and supervise a team of ICQA Area Managers and of hourly Associates (including Team Leads and Data Analyst) assigned to inventory control, quality assurance and problem solve operations within the fulfillment center
- Partner with Operations and other Support teams to establish, influence and adhere to policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety programs and SOX regulations
- Analyze inventory defects, problem solve issues or customer defects data to identify corresponding actions plan that improve quality
- Conduct short\-term (weekly) and mid\-term (month/quarter) labor plans, forecasting capacity needs, staffing plans and schedules
- Support in interviewing and training fulfillment center Area Managers
- Gain expertise in key fulfilment centre process paths, as well as exception handling; we’ll need you to ensure that process discipline is adhered to across all shifts and departments
- Ensure KPIs are reviewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform control and quality analysis on any behaviours/processes that could impact on inventory integrity
- Collaborate with all department managers to identify and understand key projects, initiatives and system enhancements
- Work with Loss Prevention teams to establish, influence and adhere to Loss Prevention policies and procedures
- Liaise with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and General Managers to aid the communication of all policies related to process discipline
- Support in Interviewing and hiring new Managers
You will lead a department responsible for inventory control, quality assurance and problem solve operations. Your day typically starts with a meeting with the fulfillment centers leadership team, where you'll review previous day performance and address any ongoing issues. Throughout the day, you will review inventory discrepancies and quality performance, analyze data, looking for trends and opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with your own team of Area Managers and hourly Associates, with other partners in FC operations or with central teams that own Catalogue, Procurement, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Loss Prevention and Program Management. You will spend time on the floor, observing processes and ensuring safety standards are maintained in you area. You'll also dedicate time developing your Area Managers providing feedback, and identifying training needs. You will finish the day knowing you've contributed to maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving quality challenges, and ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate fulfillment operations.

The applicable collective agreement (CCNL) for this role is Logistica, Trasporto Merci e Spedizione. The position is classified at level Quadro or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience.
The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full\-time basis. For part\-time hours, the salary will be pro\-rated.
Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.
Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
ITALY, Colleferro \- EUR 66,700 gross annually.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- · Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification · Demonstrated solid proficiency in time management skills, alongside confidence in organising vast amounts of data · Proven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organisation · You’re highly dependable and able to manage business functions that can operate 24/7 (including holidays): you manage time efficiently to get the job done, · A resilient, focused problem solver and self\-starter, with the ability to multi\-task and prioritize in a complex, occasionally ambiguous environment · Strong commitment to employee development, as well as an exceptional level of dedication, motivation and intelligence · Previous supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment · Excellent verbal and written communications skills in the local language and in English
