Our client, a well-established and growing logistics and distribution business based in Grays, is seeking an Inventory & Stock Control Manager to take ownership of stock accuracy, inventory processes and warehouse control procedures across a busy operation.

The Role:
As Inventory & Stock Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring stock integrity throughout the warehouse operation, leading inventory processes and implementing best practice stock management procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy across the warehouse operation.
- Lead stock investigations and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual stock takes.
- Analyse inventory data and produce management reports.
- Develop and improve stock control procedures and processes.
- Liaise with warehouse, transport and customer service teams to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
- Manage and support a small stock control team.
- Monitor KPIs relating to inventory performance and stock accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
Previous experience in an Inventory Manager, Stock Control Manager, Inventory Controller or Warehouse Management position.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience managing stock counts, audits and inventory investigations.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail.
