Are you passionate about software development and do you want to help build tools that are used daily by real customers?
Do you enjoy working on both front\-end and back\-end components? Are you also curious about how new technologies—such as AI—are integrated into existing business applications? Then this internship is for you.
Within the Software department of Easi, we continuously work on expanding and improving our solutions, such as Adfinity and AIT (Adfinity Interface Tool). AIT is our in\-house middleware platform that seamlessly integrates different software packages.
For the academic year 2026–2027, we are looking for motivated interns who want to help build the next generation of our tools. In the coming period, we will strongly focus on developing new modules that leverage AI. You will be part of the team that translates these innovative functionalities into clear, user\-friendly interfaces for both end users and administrators.
During your internship, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who will guide you through the entire software development lifecycle: from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and delivery. This way, you will gain broad and practical experience within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
--------------------
You will work closely with Easi’s technical software team, with a broad focus on both front\-end and back\-end development around our new AI\-driven modules and existing products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing front\-end components and interfaces in VueJS 3
- Building and extending APIs and services in ASP.NET Core (.NET 8 / C\#)
- Contributing to the development of configuration interfaces for new (AI\-driven) functionalities
- Thinking along about UX/UI in collaboration with the team
- Analyzing existing interfaces and identifying areas for improvement
- Expanding the functionality of AIT and related tools
- Exploring and applying new technologies and design patterns
Our Framework
Our applications are built on a modern stack: a back\-end in C\# / ASP.NET Core 8 (.NET 8\), a front\-end in VueJS 3, and a MySQL database. Version control is managed via Git, and deployment via Docker and GitLab CI/CD. You will work within a clear architecture, with coding conventions, peer reviews, and automated pipelines.
Profile
-----------
Must\-have:
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or engineering (e.g., Applied Computer Science or Industrial Engineering ICT)
- Fluent in Dutch (C2 level)
- Interest in both front\-end and back\-end development
- Analytical, goal\-oriented, and strong communication skills
- A team player mindset
- Knowledge of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET / C\#, SQL
- Experience working with Git
Nice\-to\-have:
- Experience with VueJS or a similar modern front\-end framework
- Interest in UX/UI design principles
- Experience with REST APIs and API design
- Interest in AI and how AI functionality is exposed through standard applications
- Experience with Docker
