This internship is tailored to help you build the skills and portfolio needed to work as a 3D artist in industries such as innovation tech, lifestyle products, and automotive. Our goal is to support your transition into professional assignments after graduation, whether it is as a consultant or working on studio projects.
About the Role
You’ll be embedded in the Brickland team, working closely with colleagues in the studio environment. During your internship, you won’t be assigned directly to client projects. Instead, we maintain close collaboration with industry partners to ensure the internship reflects real\-world expectations, current production workflows, and the standards of professional practice. The program is designed to give you an insight into production pipelines, visual quality standards, and the mindset required to work as a consultant in fast\-paced projects as well as having a good understanding of our internal workflow in the studio.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for students with a strong interest in 3D product communication.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are motivated to specialize in product visualization and 3D animation
- Are curious and open to learning a variety of tools and methods
- Are proactive, flexible, and communicative in how you approach challenges
- Are comfortable in an English\-speaking work environment
- Have an eye for detail, a structured mindset, and interest in project workflows
- Enjoy working both independently and in teams
- Are open to future consulting assignments after graduation as well as in a studio, meaning working on site, remotely, hybrid (or willing to move within Sweden)
- Have prior experience with 3D tools or animation – this is beneficial, but not required
The internship covers core areas such as:
- Product Visualization
- Lighting \& Look Development
- Camera Work \& Animation for Products
- Rendering \& Post\-Production
Examples of tools you may work with:
- Maya/3Ds/Cinema 4D/Unreal/Houdini
- Redshift/Vray
- Adobe After Effects / Photoshop / Illustrator
- Other tools depending on project needs and learning goals
- Location: On\-site at our Gothenburg studio (Masthamnsgatan 21\)
- Team: Be part of our studio team together with other interns
- Preferred setup: We strongly encourage applicants who are interested in doing both the autumn and spring terms with us, to ensure continuity and deeper development
- Weekly mentor check\-ins
- Structured assignments with defined deadlines
