Are you ready for a dynamic experience in one of the most vibrant cities in the world? Our successful boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona is looking for enthusiastic interns to join our team as an Assistant Hotel Receptionist

Role Description – Assistant Receptionist

As part of our front\-desk team, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming clients with professionalism and courtesy, both in person and over the phone


• Managing emails, taking reservations, and providing administrative support


• Assisting in daily operations, including payment processing and coordination with team members


• Maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors

Position Details:

• Start Date: Now, as soon as possible!! We are looking for inters NOW


• Duration: Minimum 3 months, with the option to extend up to 8 months. We prefer the longer the better.


• Hours: 6 hours per day, 5 days a week (shifts are 7\.00 am to 13\.00 pm; 12\.00 pm to 18\.00 pm and 17\.00 pm to 23\.00 pm. Shifts are organised at the start of each month, or when you first arrive to be part of our team.


• Days Off: 2 days per week (you will also work some weekends; shifts arranged monthly)


• Compensation: €450 per month, paid at the end of each month

Requirements:

• Fluent English is a must


• Other languages are a plus, and a willingness to learn some basic Spanish on the job is highly encouraged

• Students or recent graduates from any field, eager to gain exposure to the inner workings of a successful small business


• Team players who thrive in an international environment and enjoy interacting with people from all over the world

Additional Information:

• Accommodation is not provided, but we offer guidance on finding suitable options in the city


• Interns who stay more than 3 months must register with local authorities upon arrival for Social Security registration (which includes health insurance). We recommend obtaining travel health insurance before arriving
