Your Role
=============

For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI\-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.

You will

• Develop and integrate cutting\-edge machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmological and other medical devices


• Gain hands\-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities


• Analyze, research, test, and implement core functionalities for multi\-modal data specific to neuroscience and healthcare


• Research solutions in scientific and patent literature and tailor solutions to our needs


• Conduct and evaluate experiments on large scale real\-world datasets

Your Profile
================

• A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a master’s program in computer science, biomedical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning


• Advanced programming experience in Python; ideally prior experience in C/C\+\+


• Hands\-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch


• Ideally, domain knowledge in neuroscience, electrophysiological data analysis


• Ideally, experience in software engineering and development with Microsoft Azure


• Excellent organization, problem\-solving \& communication skills (English and/or German)


• A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
