International Key Account Manager (IKAM) Lidl
About the Role
As an International Key Account Manager (IKAM) within our branded portfolio, you will drive growth strategy and ensures local alignment across LIDL in Europe Operating in a newly established international customer structure, this role plays a critical part in shaping Essity’s future commercial direction.
You will act as the central interface to international customers, translating brand strategies into impactful joint business plans, while aligning pricing, promotions, and innovation across countries. Working in a matrix environment, you will influence cross\-functional stakeholders and local market teams to ensure consistent execution and sustainable growth.
The position will report to the International Customer Director.
What You Will Do
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and lead strategic relationships with international retail customers, acting as the central point of contact and managing escalations
- Commercial Strategy Execution: Develop and align joint business plans across markets, ensuring a consistent yet locally adaptable commercial approach
- Negotiation \& Agreements: Lead complex, multi\-country negotiations, including pricing frameworks and trade agreements
- Cross\-Market Alignment: Coordinate pricing, promotions, and assortments across countries to ensure consistency and performance
- Innovation Rollout: Translate brand strategies into actionable international launches, collaborating with cross\-functional and local teams
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs across markets, identify improvement areas, and drive corrective actions through data\-driven insights
- Stakeholder Influence: Align and influence internal stakeholders across functions and countries without direct authority to ensure business success
- University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in FMCG or retail, with exposure to key account management, pricing, or customer marketing
- Strong commercial understanding, including structured pricing and promotional planning in complex environments
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, combined with strategic thinking, analytical mindset, negotiation capability, and ability to collaborate across functions and cultures
- Fluent in English

This role is based in either Mannheim, Germany or Saint\-Quentin, France. These locations are central to our international customer organization and provide access to key stakeholders across markets. Please note that the position requires being based in one of these locations.
